Hello Forum,
I wanted to share a recent restoration of a crotal bell. I know some might say that I've ruined it by taking away the green patina that was formed by being in the soil for many years, but I absolutely feel that some things should just shine. I'm very pleased with the results! Thanks for looking!

Awesome find! Looks like there is a bit of decorative etching on it. Always cause for celebration when you clean up and the clanger/dinger is still there.

Yes... The design is a petal, and it's a number 1 (in a series of sizes up to #14 I think), and it rings perfectly!
