That one's pretty wild.
I found this one along the dirt road right after crossing the railroad tracks. After taking the pic, I continued on that road up and over the hills north of Congress, along the tracks. I came to a home at the tracks and talked to "Tim". His brother in law, Troy, says his (Troy's) great grand father rode with Pancho Villa. Neat! ╦╦C

While looking for another crown that Terry Soloman says is near here, I looked for a good place to crawl under the barbed wire fence here. I'm not the only creature that chose this particular place to crawl under. I found coyote hair here too!

I don't know how big they can get. There is a group here that I will join. Crested Cactus Society. They have cataloged over 2000 crested cactus in AZ (I think) alone! ╦╦C
