Thanks Guys! Well even if it is nature-made, its staying in the collection as a tool, cause theres no way somebody wasnt using this for something. I might even run sinew thru that hole an put it on my Atlatl!

I’ve found and posted finds like that before. Try looking through the hole at your tv. My theory is they used them for something vision wise, but only a pet theory.

I have found several pieces just like that on Ft Ancient Village sites. None show any evidence of usage on them but they were probably brought to the camp as oddities.

Fred thats a cool theory-never would have thought of that- Grim yea how do we know they didnt have rock collectors in there groups?
