Crusaderdad - Lone Hunt - SILVER day!

[CRUSADER]

Crusaderdad had a few hours lone hunt. Instead of carrying on where I left off in the Dump Field 2, he tried one of the other planted bean fields nearby.
The field was the one we had covered the bottom of & included the nice Galba Roman Silver I found (old banner find). Its a massive field of which we have only searched 1/3 of its area.

He found a hat/hair/cloth pinhead - can't decide if its medieval or Victorian??

3 SILVER COINS! (got to be a good day when all the coins are silver )

1888 Six Pence
1570s Elizabeth I Halfgroat (another hammered to the total, & end of year as well)
A First - Portuguese coin 1861

You will, keep trying them farmers. I do very little research. We just search everywhere we are given permission. Every field is worth covering completely once. Thats my motto - "Try anywhere once" (once might not be enough but its a start)

It's a bit hard for us to imagine such consistant great finds as these but you're finding them.
