You no longer have to worry about Dixie.Last night she read the posts about the beer and beans and decided that was not for her.She decided she wanted to stay at an up-scale motel where she could bark at every sound so she made reservations at the Motel 6!And she was worried that she wouldn't get her ice cream desert after eating if she camped out.And the camera in the shower was the last straw for her.She needs her privacy.I don't know why that worried her,she's 2yr old and has never had a bath or been groomed.Hey,we live in the country.

Bran, you need to marry that nice young lady and come back to "God's" country. There are a bunch of evil people who need ministering to right here in the southwest. Or is it midwest? I never could figure out how some of the midwest is east of the Mississippi River? And Minnesota, Illinois and others are north , not mid anything. You just need to come back and help me solve that quandry if nothing else. See you in southern Kansas in a few days. It is still southern Kansas I think?

Well, Ima tryin'! As for moving back to the Mid-west... I'm not sure about that. I don't particularly miss the weather (specifically the COLD) or the horrible pollen seasons. Plus, I can fly Allegiant Airlines up there to "visit" anytime I want.
I think I'll stick with my warm sandy beaches for the time being. But IF God ever lead me back up there, He knows I'd go... even if it's not what I'd personally choose. Afterall, He moves my feet/life....

I could probably furnish you with some armadillo-on-the-half-shell.I've shot several lately.Dixie will start barking fiercely and come to the door and I'll go out and she leads me to them.I ask her if I should get the gun and right back to the door and inside with me and beats me to the gun cabinet.And we go back out and shoot the critter.
