Cud or Dud?

A few days ago I mistakenly referred to die chips as cuds. Is this a cud? I'm trying to find an example to use as a reference for myself.

Looks like rim damage to me. But I'm not expert. I love that title though.

looks like 2 small rim pieces broke off, that equals CUD. y'all have me beat on cents. found about 6 big 'uns on nics & 1 on a qtr. the rim appears to have no dent, which is the 1st thing to suspect---kind of folds inward to make a bump.
