Welcome to the site..:hello:

Thank you

It is helpful to post your general location in your profile or of where the symbol was found.
That way people with local knowledge can help you.

That's a Catholic symbol. Gary

Todd nailed it.

I only add that its not exclusively catholic at least not here I see a lot of protestants with ichtys and chi rho stickers.

I believe it's a templer hooked x..

why would i BS you namxat ? I don't come here to ...BS.. where in tenn are you ?

I am not in Tenn but in Europe,

I suppose the TO Tennbeast is in Tenn.

You cant frequently find in France, Germany or England a Templar related location with the name still in it, yet nothing was ever found there.

I think its a nice hype with all this Oak Island thing, no offense meant.

ToddsPoint symbol is called a christogram Those letters are not P and X, but rather the Greek letters Chi and Rho. They are the first two letters of Christ (Khristos) in Greek.. It is a Christian symbol.
Don....

Yeah. I’m from Tennessee. This is closer to the East Tennessee/Kentucky border. I’m going to try to go back this weekend if weather holds out and try to get better pics of it and area. I know there was an old homestead about a mile from here. But I don’t know family name. My uncle showed it to me a while back. That is a Shepard’s hook in center. Other then that I don’t know anything else. But it has peak my interest in its meaning.

tennbeast ..I could care less what you think believe or not believe , you found a hooked x , is it real or a fresh cut , you decide . i myself wouldn''t disregard it weather i believed it or not....I am a treasure hunter.....:tongue3:

Ok. Not sure what I did. But if you could care less then why reply? Just wondering. Haven’t really said anything about what I believe. I was looking and asking for help or info. But thanks anyway. I appreciate the info on the hooked x.

That’s what I wondered. It doesn’t show alot of wear or age. And it’s very accurate looking like it wasn’t done by hand. It’s very neat and clean looking.
