Curly's October Ramblings and Log

I lost a dump bank this morning. The most convenient one at that. Time to move to another state. This silver vein has dried up anyways. :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

Box #1 - Skunk (NIFC 2012)

No Friday boxes... I picked up an oz. of silver at the pawnshop. It was a Desert Storm commemorative coin. I figured what the hell I'm a vet might as well have it. I have four boxes waiting on me today. Will post the results...

Forgot to add that I bought some Bens, Walkers, and Mercs for a few dollars less than melt at auction Sunday... I hadn't planned on it but they were there for the taking...

Thank you for serving your country, Curly! I'm currently a medic in the Army reserves! what did you end up doing in the service?

Thanks for your service as well! I was in communications. "You Can Talk About Us!" "But You Can't Talk Without Us!"

Box #1

'64 x2
'66
'67 x2
'68 x2
NFIC x4

Great box Curly - keep it up with the next 3! I'll guess we're not pulling boxes from the same source - my best box has been 4 40's.

Box #2 Skunk City...

NIFC x2

Lol felt good to see so much silver. I was a touch disappointed the second box sucked so bad.

Ok dumb question of the day.. NIFC??? I don't see that one in the terms..

It means "Not Intended for Circulation" but really I should actually be using "NCLT" - Non-Circulating Legal Tender. I use it to describe the 2002+ and 1987 halves that I come across.

The only dumb questions are the ones you never ask.

Very true indeed Curly and thank you. Was thinking it was along those lines but couldn't nail it down.

HH and best of luck!

Box #1 - 1969 x1 NIFC x4
Box #2 - 1957 x1 NIFC x7

Do you mean box #3 and #4? If so, not a bad total across four boxes.

Actually it was Box #9 and #10. Still better than average :laughing7:

I'm working on Box #11. It's been weird. I'm 21 rolls in and 90% have been 1998 P's in perfect condition with 5 40%, 2 90%, and two lamination errors worked in. It's almost too easy...

Box #11

2 90%
12 40%
2 mangled
2 NIFC

1969 ender

Thank you curly, I was in the infantry couldn't have done it without you guys.

My pleasure! Glad you made it back safely. Box #12 was more of mix. 9 40% and 1 90% 3 rusties, and 4 NIFCs.

Good boxes! Congrats!

Thanks man!! It feels good to pound out a box and hit in every single roll. I hope my luck continues Monday!
