CW bullets - Carved & lead oddities - ***SHOW US YOURS***

O.K. folks, I thought it would be a bit of fun and a learning experience to show off some of the carved CW bullets, and lead oddities you may have dug at various CW sites. Most of my carved bullets were found at a CW camp I discovered about a year ago along with big pieces of melted camp lead.
I have always liked finding carved bullets best of all, because they just seem to have so much more meaning to them than a fired or dropped CW bullet. Maybe it's just me? :dontknow: :tongue3:
Anyways, here's what I have to show from my 3 year detecting "career".
Any idea on the lead tube or the two with slits though them?

***SHOW US YOUR CARVED BULLETS & LEAD ODDITIES***

Thanks,
MM

ModernMiner: last picture is of the world's first Mr. and Mrs. Pacman.

DirtyMike: 7th picture is the very first lead false tooth. I believe it is an incisor with curious molar roots. I want teeth like that!!

I believe the musket ball below is now a fishing sinker. It's the only carved lead I have ever found. Ya'll have such AWESOME collections!!

I think that horse is one of the coolest things I've dug. It's a shame the guy wrung off the heads of the horse and rider.

Breezie. Your first bullet looks like a blown out Gardner. They were evidently not molded well sometimes and the noses would blow out when they were fired. The second bullet is a fired Williams cleaner that hit something at close range

VA,
I think they made them with no heads. :dontknow: I dug one similar too at one of my CW sites. In my case I'm looking for the head & legs. ;D
Some great lead pieces you posted. Congrats!

There are some really neat bullets on this post. Mine are not carved, but somewhat oddly sharped. I've posted the Enfield before, but thought it was worthy of a re-post. Any ideas on how #1 & #2 got in that condition? Breezie

Breezie,
That Enfield with the ball inside is one of the neatest pieces I've seen. What a great find!

The horses are amazing. I have seen one before in a local guys collection from way back that was complete w/ head. But to have the company info and date scratched in it. That steps up a relic. Great find ! :notworthy:

"Mine are not as cool but ........."

Rob,
Are you kidding? You have some great pieces of lead there buddy. If I recall, you've only been a CW relic hunter for a short time too. You're getting no pity from me. ;D
Is that long piece on the bottom row of the top picture a hollow tube? :icon_scratch:
Thanks for the post & I'm looking forward to another crab mating video! :love4:

The group of carved bullets are some that I have found. The second picture is a bullet with a Confederate flag carved in it.

Dman,
Great stuff. That confed flag lead is a great find!
Are you sure the one in the bottom right of the first picture isn't one of Q's hearing aids? :tongue3: :laughing9:

I have funky piece of lead that has some charcoal from a fire and what looks to me to be bone :icon_scratch:

MB,
Fantastic collection of unusual lead. :icon_thumleft: Some real creative troops back then. Looks like a lot of fishing sinkers too.
Thanks for posting,
