cw finds from central va

[diggervet]

My son, a friend and I went out the other day and came up with these finds. We were there for probably 2 hours so its a promising site that every time we hit it it always comes up with something. So looking to get back in there to see if we can't find the REALLY good stuff!

Hey Bud...Looks like you have found you a NICE almost Virgin Spot to hunt!!! That is a beautiful Eagle "I" and was probably used as a tent fastner due to the big ring that is looped through the shank. Some great lead there too, 2 and 3 ringers, I see a Williams Cleaner, percussion caps, musketballs, camp lead.....The spot in itself is a GREAT find!

Bud, you hit paydirt! Keep the site for yourself. A friend of mine found a virgin CW site and told one person and when he went back there was holes every where.
