DSC09693.webpDSC09691.webpDSC09694.webpre-worked almost to death and rare for around here. You can barely make out the paleo type flute. When I found it I thought it was a clovis and still think it looks a bit like one..,.but was told that it was not.

Nice old point... nice patina too.

Cool point, looks old! Base looks too concave (deep) for Clovis. I'd love to find anything paleo around here, hell, I'd love to have time to go out and look for anything soon!

IMG_4166[1].webphere's a Dalton and the bases are an exact match...(photo is from the net).

that is a sweet point that flute goes along way doesnt it.

Now if the flute goes 3/4 way up then it is a Paleo piece. My friend found one that won Paleo at a show and his looked like a Dalton but the grinding went 3/4 way up the point? Does that make sense? So I was thinking possible trans-paleo. Anyway it is a great looking point and I am still looking to find a whole one, rock

Unfortunately that's not the way it works rock

That is one well used tool. They worked it way down. Nice looking Dalton.

Reduced down to a discard. Most of the Paleo I have found are like that....still a real nice find. Thanks for showing. gt
