Darn! No "D"

Good day Every body,

Went out detecting for a few hours today with some buddy’s of mine. Found the usual clad and then decided to venture into a wooded area. First good signal was this 1916 beauty! But alas, no D. Found the wheaty a little later in the same woods.

Cool little Merc. I found a 1916 in great shape once. I waited till I got home to see if it was a D but...Nope.

Over 22 million of those 1916's but only 264,000 of the D's. Still a great find. What the heck, its worth about $3.

Way to go!!!! very nice find!! I found one earlier this year that was in very fine condition, but it didn't have the D
