Hit the hay field across from my house again today, after dinner.
Found a 1944 wheat penny in the first hole near the road then moved to the back of the well.
Here is a pic of the well

Found a bell, still rings after all these years

Got a quarter signal, popped the plug and saw this after pinpointing

That's not a quarter! Braided hair large cent,
Not 5 feet away got the same signal. Could it be?
Yeap sure was
another braided.
OK time to grid this area.
Soon found another
This one was not the same, did not even look US
but had an oval shape on one side, must be one of those Canadian bank tokens.

Sun was starting to set but got one more braided cent in for the day.


I will post more pics if I can get them to clean up well, but they are very corroded
