Day 2 - The over grown field

Went back to the field we done well on last Sunday. The digger had lengthen the ditch but nothing to find. So tried the over-grown field on the hill near where we had a couple of finds. Very hard work & it poured with rain.

I just about saved the day with a 14th century buckle in nice condition.

I don't think it has to be said, but if a 14th century buckle was found here it would be rather big news!

Any finds in a hunt is great, again getting out is still more important, getting more familar each hunt with your detector and enjoying the mud and rain!
