I've told this before but not on Christmas..
I was visiting a Dowser friend in Arizona back in 2011. While dinner was being prepared, him and I had time to get out Dowsing.
We left Camp verde and headed on tracks S of highway 17.
We were signal/Dowsing for Gold and Meteorites.
After chasing signals with targets to deep, I Dowsed a weak Gold signal in a Northern direction. I took a compass reading toward the direction the signal line was heading, and transferred it, with a protractor onto my Arizona Atlas.
I didn't know at the time, but I had signaled/Dowsed a distant ore deposit from 8 miles away.
After a few days I was able to triangulate on the target., and it was obvious, it was in a Gold district, next to old mines, Cherry mtn.
HIlly and brushy, I made my was Dowsing it's location.
It was/is dull colored Granite mountains, but hidden in a thick bushy spot, on the side of a wash, was a Mineralized zone.
It was the only spot left, that was never discovered, that still contains Gold values.
It was my first long distant Gold ore target..

The Gold ore target was signaled from 8 miles away.
Dowsing, signals the presence of an Element or Mineral, not the quantity of the Elements signaled.
When Dowsing the Gold ore target signal exit, quantity can't be easily established..
The perimeter of the ore body signals it's shape, depth of ore body can't be Dowsed by me.
All signals inside and above a target perimeter are matrix signals.. I can't knowingly Dowse purity, because all Frequencies are pure..

I contacted BLM and found it was claimable.
I could do exploratory digging, but no tunnels.
I removed all the loose Mineralized granite, and tumbled it down the hill. I cleared all the way down to were it got hard, no more fractures to pry loose.
I got down to a 3/4 inch wide Mineralized quartz vein, collected a little, then left the spot.
I didn't look at it with a magnefier and didn't see any Gold.
The other mines in the area, were known for microscopic Gold, no Free mill.
I had no way to be sure how much Gold I signal at a 8 mile distance. I didn't consider it valuable enough to continue digging. I had no idea if the quartz vein would get wider.
I was from Michigan, and didn't know anything about bedrock, or Gold mining, before I got there.
It depends on signal strength at the time of the Dowse. The ongoing signal is about one gram per foot. So 8 miles worth of grams..
The thing is, how much bad rock has to be removed to get the full Gold signal.
No pics, that was 2011.. I can barely make it out on Google earth. The Granite is all Mineralized, with, blacks, reds, and green colors.
Supposedly Mineralized Zones are quite rich, it says on line. They are active cracks, with minerals seeping to the surface, staining the rock.

It's not a big Gold bar, it's ore.. It could be spread thin, wouldn't be worth it.

Accumulating every bit of ore at half inch wide quartz/values, it needs to be drilled and assayed..

In the pic of Cherry mtn, you see multiple mines referenced.
From 8 miles, I am Dowsing, the total Gold value, in the matrix of all the ore left.
The other mines are all connected to the 8 mile Gold signal..
That signal is everything left, accessable from that spot.

I think it was 2009 that I took a trip to Arizona, spent 2 weeks dowsing around the quartz veins with my L-rods. Helped a person out there find his old claim, using my dowsing rods. We found his old claim just following my rods. He checked to see if under claim now (did not appear to be). According to this miner, in a wash next to old claim, a person metal detecting once found an 11 ounce gold nugget.

Dowsing distant ore deposits was easy. I really wanted Meteorites, which is another easy Dowse at distance. Dowsed many deep ones.
If I had dependable transportation, enough money and time, I've Dowsed a few treasure targets, that I planned on returning to retrieve, that I lost. It would take a 4x4, camping gear, and a metal detector I don't have.
It was fun while it lasted, the good old days I can say!
I would have stayed in AZ, treasure Dowsing, but destiny had poorer plans...
