Hi:hello:

This afternoon while Hank planted tomatoes, I headed out to the beach for 1 1/2 hrs. before the next bout of rain begins.

Hunted in the rocks and troughs near the shoreline.

I got a nice low tone between the rocks, and scooped out what looks like a button, or some kind of bottle cover; then I scanned the immediate area and heard the exact tone again.

I thought " Hey, I just heard that exact sound a couple of seconds ago and recovered a button...what 's goin' on here- deja vu?." .....well I dug the second sound and there it was ...a beautiful 10 K crucifix ring. ( thank you, Yogi :laughing7: )

I've been waiting to find this style...now I can check it off my "bucket list".

Here's some pics

As always, thanks for looking at my finds

Lorraine,Sure is a Pretty little thing! God Bless Chris

Cool find!
I, just yesterday stopped to talk to a fellow mowing a lawn to ask about the old building for sale and if he knew of the ghost town shown in the general area. He knew nothing of the old town but took my name and address to ask permission to detect of his sister, executor of a will who was selling the old building, a nunnery and later Catholic school built around 1915. I could not hope for any more than a lost medal, but perhaps I will get a chance to look.

Pretty ring!

Pretty ring!

Hotzone, you should find some good things on that property.

I hunted an area where a summer vacation nunnery once stood..I found a beautiful 14 K religious ring ( Blessed Mother with inscription ) at the beach there.....probably belonged to one of the nuns.
Good luck ..I hope you will be granted permission
