I know it is a very blurry image, but I just wanted to share how many documented shipwrecks exist in/around the Delmarva peninsula and New Jersey. Every black ship icon represents a wreck. You can buy the poster for like $40 online for those interested. This is just a screen capture.

Yes, there are a lot of them. "Coin Beach" immediately north of the Indian River Inlet bridge has always been good. Late winter and early spring or after a big storm are the best times to go.

Yeah, I'm waiting to go. It's currently closed for dredging and revitalization. DSSP informed me it should reopen in early March.
