A bit back you posted a flea market find of a trench art ring..
I had to dig it out twice now..lol
I found this in Ferndale years ago behind the bleachers at the high school. If I remember correctly.
Thought I would share.

I help my buddies everyday that they need me. Many of my close friends ran off to war after 911......I've worked very hard to help them adjust to civilian life. Were still a tight bunch and they know I'm here for them.....just helped one get a captains position on a research boat. Hes living the dream now and very happy....that's all I can ask for him. Feels good to help my boys when I can.....and they know I'm there for them. It can be a challenge though sometimes.

I'm slightly dismayed this morning after an encounter yesterday.
I thanked a man in Marine corps full dress for his service and sacrifices.
He was put off at least and pissed off at best.

What has changed ?
Why are you wearing your full dress uniform if you feel that you were just manipulated ?

I'm glad I'm almost 50!
I really don't like how the world has changed for the worse and time is finite.
Like my signature states.

Did I mention that I hit the 200lbs goal ?
I still cannot fathom how I had managed to end up 634lbs.
I lost more than two adult males worth of blubber!

I certainly feel better physically.
