Detecting Below the Tide...Found a Hoard!

[romeo-1]

Ok, maybe not a hoard but someone tossed a ton of full metal jackets on the beach!

Started the day at the fort for inspiration before heading across the river...typical finds but just glad to get out!

Scroll down...got a silver surprise!!

[Argentium]

Interesting finds ! Are the remains of the spoon silver ?

[flatbutton]

Nice! Hey, at least you were able to get out. It's pouring down rain here!

[Iron Patch]

Enough to keep you going. In another month you might be able to do a land hunt.

[Msbeepbeep]

Quite a hoard of those! Good thing the beach doesn't freeze solid like the ground!

Congrats on getting out to MD!

At first I thought it was brass but it may actually be silver...cleaning it up now. Salt water does strange things to silver...

Now that's a huge pile there...great just to see your digging up a storm at this time of year...

[treblehunter]

Cool beans, nice stuff!

[Rick (Nova Scotia)]

Yeah that's a hoard. Any time you get a chance to hunt in Feb. is "cool".
I should have a good salt water machine by next weekend, for just in case.
