Detecting In The Metropolis

....and that is what it felt like this Friday. I was out with Glenn "TreasureDiggerNY" in a couple of these Manhattan Parks. I kept saying to Glenn as we walked down the streets, "This is definately urban treasure hunting, we must look so out of place walking around here with these metal detectors!". Anyhow, we worked pretty hard this day. i started experiencing the too many wheats but where is the silver?! Luckily, some appeared. Silver Fox was generous and left those for me! Thanks Ed!
Those two coins there is where I thank the trueness of the assorted tones the Explorer sings, and learn all too well that you can't trust the smartscreen. Had I, I would've passed BOTH off as pennies. Scan included below.

Nice silver Ricardo. How ya been my friend? It's bad enough I have to be walking around Manhattan all week long at work. I know I would'nt be there on the weekend. I probably walked past the parks you were at. Good luck on future hunts.

Hey Ricardo ! Where you been man? Congrats on the silvers , you always inspire me. With regard to

penny type signals that turn out to be a kind find, yeah- I can't tell you how many times i was this close

to not digging a penny sig. , and for whatever reason (Holy Spirit ? ) i dug the signal and took home

one more silver ring . Argentium.
