Did some cold water detecting today - found old gold

Hook up with Whydah from the Beach forum the last 2 days
for some cold water beach hunting
I wear my cold water wet suit
Whydah waders
We met on forum about 2 months ago
been trying to find to hunt together - finally happened the last 2 days
He has gotten some silver coins and a few pieces of silver jewelry
I got a few silvr coins on my own - but he took me to one of his haunts
today and pulled out 2 old gold
they may both be rubys
one on right is marked 22 k and has a bunch of English hallmarks
between us we have 70+ yrs of detecing under our belts
he started in 1972 - me 1975

confirmed - this ring is 1888 - my oldest gold ring
