Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
I was at a local park outside of a large pavilion when I got a 53-54 hit on my ATP.

When I went to cut the plug I found it already plugged! I figured someone just left their
trash in the hole.

Upon opening the plug there was nothing in the hole. Imagine my surprise when I pulled
this out of the dirt flap! 14k gold with 14 diamonds!

I think the band part of the set was in the bottom of the hole and the previous person
just closed up the hole and continued. Perhaps he did not have a pinpointer and could not find the
target??

Anyways.........THANKS FOR NOT CHECKING THE PLUG !

Congrats.That is sweet.HH.

Awesome find!! I'll make sure I check the hole and plug thoroughly from now on!

Yikes! That is one awesome looking ring.

Congrats on the gold... Always double check, even after you cover your hole!

How many have dug and dug and dug and then finally said, "Ah! There it is!"

Notice? "It is"

Never assume that's there's only an "it". ;)

Many times I've dug up something and said it doesn't fit the signal I got. There's no way this nickel, gave me a quarter vdi, for example.

Great catch!
