I'm shaking still. Went back to the dog park site I have been hunting. When they made the park they scraped everything around everywhere and added clay mixed with beer cans, the usual. Have found flat buttons at 2" with a six inch beaver tail under them. After 10 beer cans under the clay in an area I've been avoiding thinking the fill was too thick this pops out. Rim was thin and smooth looking thought it was Spanish. I left immediately but I think I'm going back now.

First bust silver, first bust half dollar , an oldest American silver. Firsts have been few and far between lately but this week my luck has turned.

Awesome bust piece, I've got to find one of those

Dig til your arms fall off, lol. Great finds!

killer find!!!

"Dang the pull-tabs (and licking dogs), full speed ahead!!! Great find's!

wow i like the spur and the coin ,happy hunting

Awesome coin! Congrats

2 really nice finds! congrats

No pic of the pull tab sorry. I plan to take some video at this site today, hopefully more great finds. There's a cemetery on the site with graves dated in the late 1700's. I want to check out around it but not sure if someone will call the cops.

I wouldn't go messin' around in a cemetery. Sure, the thought is there for a lot of people and of course you wouldn't be digging six feet down and taking bodies out, but still it's sacred ground. Do as you wish, though!

Yeah I definitely won't be digging anywhere near the stones. I would like to set them back upright though. I've stayed 50 yards away from them at this point. Some have giant trees growing right through the grave. You can feel history in the air.

Ha! VERY cool man! I ALWAYS dig beer can signals as the two silver dollars I have found sounded exactly like a shallow beer can! Great score!

What a nice find!! I would love to find something that old. And it's a half to boot!

Yeah. I've heard and seen forgotten cemeteries before. It's a tempting thing.
