I just took the time to read this thread...and follow it to the "last meeting"...but no report came from that meeting. Anyone go to that meeting and can report as to how this all ended?
Thanks! :hello2:

Guys, let me say this - Dr,'s gold did exist - if you get a chance read the book 100 Tons of Gold - Dr. Noss story. I have detected the Victorio Peak area on WSMR many times as a member of a detecting team doing research for various calvary engagements with Victorio and other indian bands. But the gold has long since vanished, whether by the military or others - who knows. Our group was escorted to the detecting site each time by range MP's, 4x4 drive vehicles only, personal cameras were taken while we were on the main roads of the range - you can guess why - and they were returned to us once we arrived at the peak. The picturegraphs do exist and I also have pictures of them. The peak is honey combed with numerous holes and as far as I know - no one has ever found anything except Noss, which is documented. Have a great day.

Of course the military wasn't gonna let anyone in until they had removed the goods. They're greedy, but they're not dumb.

And the point is, they have already let people in there. Therefore, the place is not secret. Therefore, why would anyone fall for buying a map to this "secret" place?

TH'ers have it really bad when they think they can organize a hunt on a treasure site where I am for sure the Gov. Is watching with greedy lttle eyes just waiting for a group like this willing to take a chance on something the goverment has either found, or is keeping hidden, or is some kind of cover up but more power to anyone who can pull something like this off I wouldn't have anything to do with it or the publicity it is going to promote HH everyone good luck and watch your 6......

We drove up there several years ago.

I gotta tell you - I don't like military people with military weapons. :laughing7:

My sister and neice live in Alamogordo - spent lots of time passing by there.

The government has whatever was there. (and I believe there WAS something there).

How many other stories have we heard of where the guberment has stood by in the wings until all the discovery, investment, recovery & hard work has been done then swoops in & claims the finds? Falls under Rule #1 look it up, dig it up, shut up. ;D

Look at all the crap they put scuba divers through after they do all the work finding a wreck.

And it comes from all sides of government - the states, the Feds and all the local governments have their hands out. (and now, other countries).
