This is going to be my post section for the next 2 weeks. I made it home this morning, and I already had the itch to hit up the banks. I stopped at about 5 or 6 banks on the way home from the airport. I must say there is a HUGE difference between Minnesota and South Carolina thats for sure. Each bank I hit up had atleast 100 to 400 halves and I came home with 3 canvas bags which I can really use! Here are my finds for day 1!

40% - 15
1964 - 3
76S - 1

Well I went out hunting today and I figured it would be pretty hard to top yesterday but I didn't do too bad. My total for today:

40% - 10
1964 - 2
1943 walker
2 car wash tokens lol
a foreign coin of some sort
a star $10 when I cashed all of my coins in!

Did you go through Farmington today?

When I asked they said someone else had already been through asking for halves today?

Nope I have not been anywhere near the Cities since Christmas. I don't think I am going to get much more hunting in before I have to head back to South Carolina. I may try go out one more time, but I will be heading back into Iowa.

Oh, apparently I have more competition locally than I thought. :) Oh, well. And I believe the ? coin in your picture is a coin from switzerland I have found a few in nickel rolls that have an almost identical picture though I am sure mine are of a different denomination. I am guessing yours is probably a 1 Franc or 2 Franc coin?

It is if it says Helvetica, it is from switzerland. Also check the date, some of the older coins (at least the 1 and 2 Franc coins prior to 1968) from Switzerland were made from silver.
