Oh yea I remember this post now. I started reading it and wondeded why I had already made a comment.
This post reminded me also, when I was a deputy I found a case of dynamite in the front seat of an abandoned truck. I put it in the back of my unit and forgot about. Later the sheriff found out about it and yelled at me to take it to the local gold mine (we had a lot) and have them put it in their bunker.

We also blew up a few small to medium size stumps. Form a cone with duct tape and cardboard over one and set it off and it would act as a shape charge and blow all or part of the stump out. Oh well, those were days of yore. Monty
