Found this in the backyard buried about 6" down. Used quarter for scale. All I can make out is an engraved "1920" & "USA".

Looks to be made of brass. Can we see the other end, the top. So far im leaning towards a hose bibb. The top piece should rotate at the engraved grip.

Haha! I think i'll keep it. My 5 yr. old daughter helped me dig it up. :laughing7:

Does the small end look like it could have had an eye piece? It looks somewhat like a hand level, used by surveyors or contractors. Good luck.

My first thought was a powder measure for black powder rifle, but I'm sure it's the razor handle posted.
