Don't know what to do, I cannot PM. What is the secret

I tried but the outbox is empty-- i spent some time writing to someone to answer a need and it did not appear to make it anywhere but the bit-bucket.. Hopes that i can post this..

On the sidebar below the person's name and avatar look for the button that says 'send PM'.

Just before you send a PM, scroll down a bit and check the box that says save to your outbox.

Another way to do it is--
Click on mail, which will open your PM inbox
Click on new message, type in member name
Type your PM
Before you send, you can click the box to save it to your outbox.
