This year's cone syrup. It is just natural to say “Pine” cones when in fact we use Douglas Fir cones for syrup. The Pine species here is Lodge Pole Pine which is known to be toxic so we stay clear of any Pine trees. Smell and flavour is unbelievable as it hard to describe how good it really is...

Interesting, my brother lived most of his life in Oregon and loved the outdoors. I don't think he knew about the syrup.
