I don’t even try to locate coins with map dowsing..When I physical dowse coins have a very limited range..I can only pick up a silver dime for 60 paces and a flake of gold for 40 paces...To me that is not something I want to look for....Art

Ok we'll I think I would real like to give it a shot this spring not map dowsing but on the ground. I really would like to try map dowsing or have some one that knows how help me I have a plot of land with a house on it. The story is from the family that the family member that lived there buried most of his money and was a greedy old butt hole. The family has been all over it with detectors for the last 16 years or so with no luck. I asked if I could give it a shot and they said with a smile that if I found it I could have it they spent to much time and money on trying to find it. So if any one out there knows some one that could help I would be very grateful.

Try a higher-end metal detector.... I'm sure this is like the Devil's tool for you, but the better detectors can pinpoint a coin to within half an inch. Even if the coin is too deep for the detector to hit on a single swing, the pinpointer (at least on my machine) can pintpint accurately down to a foot or more, and some detectors can go deeper.

See, even though you called me a jerk for questioning things that don't make sense to me, which is a basic trait most humans, I'm still willing to help. It's the mark of a gentleman. You should try it sometime instead of jumping so quickly to inaccurate conclusions.

Since you have been preaching about forum rules you should read this..

This forum is limited to the discussion of simple, inexpensive (or FREE!) devices and techniques. That means NO discussion of electrical devices of any kind. Feel free to discuss L-rods, Spanish dip needles, map dowsing, and other dowsing related subjects.

Because of past experience with similar forums, I will not have much patience in the forum, so if you veer off topic you just might find your post deleted and your permissions restricted. If you have some constructive information to share about dowsing then great, feel free to post!! If you want to post just to toot your own horn or to sneak in links to your long range locator website, then beware - I am ready to ban you! PERMANENTLY!

Thanks,

Do you still play this game where you pretend not to understand stuff whenever it suits you, Art? Fine, then let's you and I go back through all of these threads, find each reference to metal detectors (you've made them too) and admonish all of those individuals.

What, you don't want to do that?? Could it be because you know very well that the rule you referenced above was written for the people that kept trying to talk about LRL usage in dowsing forums? That's one of the reasons the LRL forum was created. Keep in mind that just because you choose to ignore something, doesn't mean it no longer exists for the rest of us.

Hee's a line you obviously didn't read; "If you want to post just to toot your own horn or to sneak in links to your long range locator website, then beware - I am ready to ban you! PERMANENTLY!"

And for the record, my advise to recondigger was well-placed. Do you remember when Marc jumped on you for adding the exact same post to 8 or 9 different threads in Dowsing because you got all frustrated and tantrum-y? Recon had done this twice and I was just giving him a friendly heads-up. But, when I said that rule was made for you, I wasn't joking or trying to be mean; it's just the truth, Art.

No answer needed...Art

You're right Art, it was more a series of rhetorical questions than anything else, I never actually expected you to provide any sort of comprehensible response... :tongue3:

I do have a point. Read slowly, Art....

The quote above has nothing to do with you. I repeated it because you tried to tell me I was violating a rule by speaking about metal detectors. This is my way of showing you that the "electronic devices" Marc mentioned was in reference to LRLs, not metal detectors.

At no point did I say that you yourself were banned, Art. You do understand that, right?

My point is what I see ... If you have some constructive information to share about dowsing then great, feel free to post!!..Art

LOL! I'll start when you do!

I posted a new photo in case you want to have a look, Art. It's a nice little golf course that was recently turned into a city park. The course had been in existance for about 90 years before it was converted into open area. I've made some nice finds there, but since the area is so large I was curious if there might be some spots that I need to focus on a little harder.
