I can't do my lumbercamp hunting due to my bad knee so am I going to just give up THing until after the surgery? NOT!

I watch for local hunting opportunities.

This morning I went to an area small church where they're tearing up the ground for driveway cement work.

I was only there 5 minutes and the Nautilus gave me this nice Indian. Then the worker showed up so I got out of his way.

I shall return!

NOTE: I've added more finds from this site. Scroll down the thread to see them. Thanks for shopping with us.

Maybe the guy asking if you worked for a living thought you were making a living treasure hunting?

Perhaps you should have said "Well by the time I get done sorting out all the gold and silver jewelry from the old coins I hardly have time to look for work." ;D

LOL! ;D ;D ;D

Oh man, I nearly fell off my chair! ;D

I love your "glass is half full" way of looking at life.

I guess it was that cocky look on his face that really got to me.

Good one!

Sorry to hear about the knee surgery, I hope all goes well....but at least your not giving up ( my hero )....lol. That is a nice token, but I did see a piece on the travel channel the other night in which a 1913 V nickel sold at auction for I think it was 1,600,000.00. I don't remember the mint on it. Anyway nice finds, HH......gregd573

Thanks gregd573.

Oh boy, wouldn't it be great to dig something like that? Super finds do happen.

You're right Mona! I did about 4 hours the other day and felt like somebody had beaten me up but it was worth it. All I found were two really cool old buttons.

I have to limit myself to smooth yards but hey, there's stuff out there.

Thanks to everyone who commented on this post.
