Hello, :hello:

I have had a very slow season. :icon_scratch: I've been out but not finding much. Started searching this year around the end of march. By May I was out more than 7 times with no silver coins or jewelery. :dontknow: Just a few wheats and some older jeffersons and a buffalo or two. ??? Was not until June I found my first silver of the Year to a place Prolab69 took me. :icon_thumleft: There I found a 1946 Silver Washington quarter !! :headbang: I knew about the site but never went myself. :dontknow:

Anyway, some people said to me your saving up for a BIG find.... :icon_scratch: Well today we went to a park we have hit many times with not much luck and I have found.... :o A nice size Gold pinkie ring marked with an 18 and two stars. If anyone knows what they mean please tell me... :notworthy: Not sure what the two stars are but I presume its 18k. :hello2: It looked like 18k to me the 2nd I pulled it from the ground it weighs 9.1 grams.... :o I guess those people who said I was saving for a big find are right my dry spell ended with some great finds. :headbang: So even if your not finding stuff you could be saving for a big find, remember that. :icon_thumright:

Here are some pictures, enjoy !! :laughing7:
Keep @ it and HH !! :D ;D

Well done. I guess I have been saving for the big find since I started MDing. LOL. Gonna try a little in New Orleans on Monday at the 1890's home that my brother-in-law owns in the French Quarter. Possibilities exist. Would love to find something that would bring him a little extra and maybe help pay for my vacation there also. HH.

that is absolutely beautiful! I'm still trying to pick up my jaw. Definitely looks late 1800s/early 1900s. Nice way to break back into the gold!

If you're gonna break a slump, that's a heck of a way to do it. Big fat chunk :icon_salut:

Nice ring, and I do hope it is 18kt. But I have found that things like 18** usually means it is not 18kt and is ment to deceive the more trusting of us. That is why some things are marked 14KT with a tiny gf just set far enough away to ignore. I have found a ring that was marked 14kt with lots of diamonds and everything was faux, fake and false. Again, hope it is 18kt, and it is massive! Should have knocked your eardrums for a loop.
