A friend and I were out in the desert today detecting an early service station/rest stop/crossroads type area.I dug this 1883 Hawaii quarter dollar. I thought it was a Barber at first glance. Hi Hayden,

Kevin and I went out in the desert near where I live. It is an area that once had a crossroad and a service station/rest area. Lots of trash! I got lucky.
