Dug up this ring in hard cold dirt.....

Hey guys,nice out today ,in the 40's, but cold hard dirt to dig.Dug this ring near rocks,where people hang out overlooking the park.I'm pretty sure it's an old ring. Does any of you know by looking at this ring when it was made? Curious here! No markings on it.

Looks like some tarnished silver I've seen on some beaches. You could probably clean it up with some baking soda & water. Beware of the risk that if its plated, the plating may come off.

Age on rings is hard to say. Styles change over the years and some make a comeback. Also, the jeweler's skill can vary, along with artistic license.

Looks like domestic costume from the 50's to me. Still an exciting thing to dig!
