Duke playing in the river

It's raining today, yesterday the sun was shinning, so took advantage of it and took Duke to the river. Hard for me to get around, but he really had fun.

The next picture he is splashing with his foot, then biting the splash.

My dog won't retrieve anything in water deeper then what he can keep his paws down below the surface. He doesn't want to swim. Bella got a little far in the creek once and the currant lifted her into the deep water, but I had her on a leash to reel her in.
