Found this ...has very squared sharp edges, material has the feel and smooth texture of slate or similar. Maybe a preform something and it broke or i dunno

I hate to see a post go unanswered but am thinking it is natural. It does not seem to have the hand of man on it. Keep at it though and keep posting your finds.

I don't think it's natural, I found a piece similar while digging a rock shelter that showed evidence of Adena and Fort Ancient occupation. I was told it was natural but I'm positive it's man made/altered.
