Makton, that's the Great Seal button used from 1902 - current, I believe. Most are from WWI and WWII sites.

cool i found a button just like his today, i havent cleaned it yet, it has some writeing on the back i can almost read it but it is cool

Found one of those the other day. Mine had "Made in England" stamped on the back. Almost certain it's WWI. Good find!
