WOW!!! I never thought I would find this thing over the weekend but here it is. I was using my TDI SL and got a decent signal and started digging checked pile and hole, then dug some more, finally got to this awesome plate at 18"! There were some guys there that wanted to take pictures and I could barely hold it steady I was shaking so bad. The applied palm on 1 side came off in the hole and the other has started to fall apart. The first picture is right out of the hole, the second is after very light cleaning with tooth pick.

Thanks for looking!!
HH

Great find hard to believe that came out of the POUNDED field. Goes to show you can't find it all. Congrats!

The leaves broke apart. I don't know much about plates I need to look it up. It appears that the entire eagle is applied and may separate from the plate.

There were dig holes all around the spot it was found. I guess it was just meant to be.
