Eagles Nest Wilderness

Went out hiking here this a.m. before the rain starts this afternoon. The trail is pretty much straight up for about a mile, but levels off a little after that. Nice scenery.

Why yes Fossis, this is bear country. And mountain lions too. No grizzlies, though. We've had a few home and dumpster invasions by bears, but nothing serious. In six years, I have not seen one, and I spend a lot of time outdoors. I'm sure they've seen me. I've seen where they've been. I take all the precautions to keep bears away when camping, and so far no problems. I would like to get a pic though.
