First off my camera doesnt do it justice old camera old comp. This so far is my best for 2020 and probably in my top 5 for color and craftsmanship of a point I have found. It was found about a month ago while walking a freshly plowed field after a good rain. First time the field had ever been turned in the last 5 years along a creek where I have found other artifacts. I dont have the dirt pic but it was laying right on top of the soil. Its called a Eastern Dalton rather new type and named recently not many examples have been found. In this part of Georgia anyway most are found in the eastern part of TN valley. Its black with a off white inclusion that runs around both sides. Ive found a few clunkers this year but nothing like this one. I went back a couple of times but now the grass is taking over. Hope you guys like it as much as I do cause I dont find many Dalton types, rock
