Ebay Listing Accountability Thread

Listed 1 item. 25 sales in July. One offer today that I countered. Hoping for 30 + sales this month. Need to get listing! HH
Now that's an awesome month! Was it mostly toys?

Yeah, Palidin, was that mostly toys? That is a good month indeed. Diesel Ram, 4 of them were lures, and 1 was an antique fish skinner. That's not my first time shipping 5 out, but it doesn't happen much at all. I wish it would happen more often. Don't worry, your time is coming. I was also running over 100 listings when I sold those this weekend. I can't imagine selling 50 in a day. If you'll look sometimes in the listings, you'll see a whole bunch with the same background. I clicked on one once and the guy had over 1000 listings. I checked his sold items, and he had sold 50+ the day before, all antique stuff that I would bet he got at auctions/yardsales. That would be a full time job.

I have been upgraded to a power seller. Anyone else one? It says on my projected seller page that I will probably be a top rated seller on my next check (August 20). Wow, I didn't know you could become a top rated seller with less that 150 feedback. I figure there is a catch. Anyone else get that?

6 video game listings, 2 NIB board games, 12 toy listings, 5 jewelry listings.... I am trying to get more video games because the BINs are free! HH

See you guys Thursday, I'm heading to the lake. 8-)

Mostly best offers some auctions to clear out some jewelry for a small profit

Sold a shotglass and a pin this morning and a shirt and a hat yesterday-- now up to 29 sales for July!

I also have 8 half started listings, so should be a good evening to finish them up.

Listed 1 item. Sales up to 27 now. Had a .99 cent auction sell for .99 plus shipping. Need to keep it going to get to 30 sales this month! HH

Patting myself on my back! I am up to 44 live auctions. Two have bids. A bunch of them are super old. But this morning I only had 28 up, so I've been busy. I've got a ton of pictures taken, so I can get more auctions ready.

Now if I make a few sales I can justify trying to get another jar ....

(oh yeah. I just saw I have 4 scheduled to list in a couple of weeks. I'm giving those items a break. Who knows. Maybe it will help.)

8 new ones listed last night... pretty productive

Listed 11 BINs today, all silver or gold pieces, total value $580 (nudging prices down to move things, if necessary, should still bring in well over 500). Sold a sterling pin immediately, bringing me to nine sales/$278 for the month. Have a few more things to list, and some bulk junk jewelry auctions, but nearing the end of my jewelry inventory (don't even get me started on all the small $5-20 non-jewelry stuff I have piling up, someday....). I'm hoping to do some buying Fri-Sun, haven't gotten to do enough of the fun part of things for the last little while. It seems like when I have the time I don't have the money & vice versa.

Listed three more BINs with one more plus my auctions on deck! Just need to fill in some info I don't have on hand since I'm at work (slow night lol) and they'll be off to the races.

So on the draft section on the all selling page, can you start several listings and then finish them later? I thought it deleted them when you started a new one.

Listed another bunch of betamax tapes this week, those of the adult variety. I am still selling stuff from a massive estate sale a month ago. I have even more stuff but am running out of free listings. I am getting a backlog of items. Also I am blowing out a lot of dead stock. Anything that doesn't sell at .99 cents goes into the garage sale bins.

Yup Bassmaster I do that a lot. It's convenient because I can start listings on my phone when I have downtime at my day job, or at home where the internet is terrible. I do everything but pictures and then go to my "super-fancy" "ebay office" and use my lighting setup there to take all the pictures for all of my drafts.

It saves them for about a month. I've had as many as 9 or 10 in there. very useful!

I love it when I buy something that I have a good feeling about and it turns out to be better than I thought.

I'll admit neither are huge scores, but a Tommy Hilfiger T-shirt that says 'freedom'. Paid 2.69, sold for $30 a few weeks ago.

What made me post this is I started a draft for a Boston College Jersey. In researching, turns out it is Doug Fluties's number (NFL) when he went there, and the few listings I found of the same brand were all $40+ I paid $4.49 for it. I'll be listing it soon. Not a bad flip for 15-20 minutes of total time

Very nice guys! I'll have to use that draft option, that will be helpful!

Listed 7 tonight, sold 1 today.
