Ebay Listing Accountability Thread

Yeah, it would probably do good. Sold 2 so far this weekend. I have one that I sold 4 days or so ago and still haven't gotten paid. The buyer has over 600 feedback 100% positive, however, one was left 2 days ago by a seller and it said he never paid or responded. I hate to open a case, but what do you do? I figure something happened to him or something, he may be in the hospital or something.

Need to get listing today. Busy with overtime. 2 sales in August. 2 low ball bids and had to open a case against a buyer that has not paid for 2 weeks. HH

That's not a good sign. I had a buyer about the same with awesome feedback, just wouldn't pay me. After multiple invoices I opened a case. Worst thing was Ge was paying other sellers at the same timeframe. Hopefully your buyer comes through.

Now that is real bad news, if they were paying other sellers. I would have already opened a case if he had. I think he is a repeat buyer, I just hate to open a case. Got a $35 bid on 2 toy Jurassic park vehicles. Only gave $4 for that whole box. :headbang:

Yeah, I would give him the benefit of a doubt in that case. Sometimes emergencies come up.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Are you back at Maine yet?

Yup, back home. Arrived a few hours ago. Off to work and some measure of reality tomorrow. Lol!

Glad to hear you made it safe.

No sales for me so far today. It is always nice to have something that was relisted a few times sell.

5 Sales so far as of the 5th... which is good, but I also have 7 items with bids! Some $20 sales but also some $5 ones in there for hats I am trying to clear out, but they add up.

I'm also 30-40 items listed above my goal of 100 so far, and it has been paying off with an average of 2 sales/bids per day.

Going to list a few more tonight!

Yup the small items do add up.

That is true. However, if I am going to sell something cheap, I would rather end them all on the same day so I can have multiple ones going out at once. What is the cheapest item you have ever sold on eBay?

I try to do the same, but depends on when people pay. Had 3 hats end last night and all three paid before I woke up, which was nice.

Out of the 280 items I have sold since I started earlier this year, only 10 sold for less than $5 total, and all of those were from my first month or two when I was just trying to see what I had to get feedback (probably jewelry stuff and other small things).

I only sell hats at $5 + shipping as a last resort and they won't sell for higher. After fees and costs, I make just under $4. I won't buy a hat if I only think it will sell for that, its only ones that just didn't work as planned. I put in the time to list it and take pics, I'd rather Make my money back and some profit for a few minutes of packing time then be out my original cost.

And all the $10-20 hats make up for it :)

Up to 9 sales and 3 items with bids now, as of the 6th.

Sold a Disney Villains mug that I paid $1 for..... for $35 w/shipping.
Made me pretty happy seeing that.

Only listed 3 items last night, but I'm happy to continue my listing streak.

Okay, that makes sense. Sometimes I have to do the same thing on stuff that isn't selling. I normally throw it in to big lots though. Nice on that mug!

The cheapest thing I have sold was .99 cents, however I charged $15.00 shipping so I made about four bucks on it. I had no money in it.

That makes sense also. I don't get the 0.99 free shipping listings. They have to lose money.
