Ebay Listing Accountability Thread

Welcome back! Hope you had a great time!

Had 18 sales so far in Aug. Some just to get money back invested, but some what I call nuggets 2 vintage womens slip that I paid $1.79 a piece, got $24.00 a piece, plus shipping to New Zealand. A book for $.45, got $16.00 plus shipping.

The more I sale on Ebay, the more things I realize there are to make money on!!!!

Absolutely, it's amazing what people will buy on eBay...

Yes DieselRam, we did have a good time. It was good to get away again even if it was just for a short time.

Honestly, I couldn't sell the majority of my stuff if it wasn't for eBay. There is a very slim chance I could sell an emblem off of a truck locally, but no way for $20 or so. I've only got 9 sales so far in August, but have a toy lot for $40 shipped.

Glad to hear you had a good time. Yes eBay opens up markets for just about anything. It also saves a lot of vintage stuff from just being tossed away.

Now of course the idiot on the toy cancelled his bid. :BangHead: That is really annoying.

Got a bid on a hat (13 bucks shipped) and listed 9 things yesterday.

Waiting for a free listing promo to re-list some unsold items. Mostly low $ hats and some other items that didn't get much interest and I don't want to waste my free monthly listings on.

I have only had one buyer cancel a bid. Sure ducks when it happens though.

I don't blame you there. I am starting to try to list only items that sell for more than 10.00 because of the hassle factor.

Wait until ebay cancels someones bid and doesn't tell you about it, those are always fun.

I spent 10 minutes once going WHERE DID MY ITEM GO!? when I was trying to ship it. Never bothered to look in the unsold list....

Me too. I need another promo so I can relist a whole lot. I think eBay should give those a lot. They are making a lot of money off of the sales. More than they make off of me regularly because I up my listings. :dontknow:

Yeah, that is basically what happened. I was scrolling back and forth looking for it. It hadn't went off though. I was really annoyed, but I knew what happened, because it happens to me quite a bit. :BangHead:

Just picked up a nice vintage Nelson dial-a-rain sprinkler for FREE! Will put it on eBay tonight after testing for 19.95 plus 15.00 shipping.

Is it a metal one ? I have metal one and a plastic one - the metal one throws the water 8 to to 10 farther

Yes metal. Works awesome!

That was a nice grab there dieselram! I haven't thought about selling sprinklers before. I guess I can keep my eye out now.

Seems they are in demand. I know the old brass ones are especially desirable.

My threshold is $25.00 and it has had the unintended side effect of forcing me to focus my time looking for those higher value items.
