Ebay question

Hi all! I have a question regarding an auction I won. Last Sunday I won an ebay auction for a Mad Magazine pocketbook, it was $1.04 with free shipping. As soon as the auction ended I paid via paypal but when I look at the paypal statement it shows "payment unclaimed, paypal transaction pending, not yet accepted by seller". I emailed the seller to see if there was a problem but received no response. I could cancel the transaction but I don't to get a negative feedback. This seller has a feedback rating of 100% but only has a feedback score of 5. What do you think I should do? Your opinions are appreciated. Thank you. -Garbageman

For that amount of money I'd give it a few more days.
New sellers can be a little slow on following up on their auctions.
After that, I'd start an "item not received" case to get the seller's attention.

Yes. I sent a payment to someone (off ebay) and switched 2 letters around the wrong way in his email address and it sat unclaimed for several days before I noticed it so I quickly cancelled it. Another time I put a wrong address on one of my own auctions, someone paid but it was showing unclaimed on their end. I actually opened up an email account in that name to get that payment. I didn't want to have to cancel the transaction and relist the item and all that.

The seller can check the email he used for that particular listing by hitting "sell similar" on that item and then scroll down to see what email he entered. It's his screw up. If it has been 48 hours since he hasn't answered you, open a case.

fyi- After 30 days, an unclaimed paypal payment is automatically canceled and the money is returned to you. Good luck!
