I'll re-address this statement, because the irony I find in it is; Is not our own country, America, not founded on freedom of religion? Many of our laws are based on certain books' principals/rules/law. What motto do we put on our currency? So if, as the majority of americans believe, that our country too, is based on "religion", would that mean we will never have peace either? There will never be peace in countries ruled by religion! Frank.
We have many closed-minded religious radicals in this country as well. Wanna see that leader of Westboro Baptist as Prez? What a way his church shows "love for fellow man"! huh?
What about Koresh's, now little defuncted clan? Warren Jeffries, is it (OMG!)? Heavens' Gate......
Blind, deaf, and dumb, leading the blind, deaf, and dumb, imho. sad.......
So to say, others have their radicals of hate, I would think one must not be as obtuse as to think, we don't have our own, also.
$0.02, for what it's worth.
eta: and on the reality 'assumptions", if atoms and molecules are made of 99.9% space, and science concedes that only observation of said particles results in an effect, then even reality may not be real. One cannot truly observe what one does not observe/perceive. eh, did that come out right?
