elk antler section

i thought i would post this to show how an elk antler bracelet starts out
these pieces of horn are split into about 1/4" strips
then a groove is carved into the inside of the strip
then it is boiled in buffalo fat so it curls into a bracelet
Twitko recently showed a very long piece which was straight rather than curved
i will try to find a link to that image
this is the only piece like this that i have found
