Welcome to Tnet ! I'm guessing that one of our
veteran British detectorists- Crusader will know. Did you purchase this privately ? Seems like a coin shop would have presented the info on a 2X2 holder .

If only it could talk ! I'd guess it's gotta be 12th or 13th C. but I know very little about these hammereds - I like to think about what it might have purchased when it circulated ! A pig , a sheep , a jug of ale ? hmmm...
