I went out today with the Equinox for the first time. I used it for 3 and a half hours and found 1 silver toe ring and two junk rings with 84 coins. The 800 is rock solid wading in the ocean. I did not find much in the wet sand or trough. I found all three rings in the dry sand along with the coins. The nox is very accurate on the numbers when it comes to coins. Here 20 is a penny, 13 is a nickel. 25 was a quarter. The toe ring was down deep at least 12 inches and the junk round ring was more than 12 inches. Pinpointing with the nox is really simple and accurate. i can't wait to get waterproof headphones to really put this beast to the test. I have 2 Excals and the CTX and feel that the Equinox will give them a run for their money. I love my CTX and Excals. Now it's really going to be hard to choose which detector I want to use.

Nice work. I found that Quarters on edge jump all over the place... from 5 to 29. Yet somehow, when I hear it I still know it's a quarter before I dig it... I guess because of the high number (29).

Quarters are 29. Dimes are 25. Beach mode 1 and 2

Very nice! I've got about 6 hours on mine so far, I really think when the equinox is mastered it's going to be the one to beat.<br>
I need to download the full instruction manual for some basics. Fun machine. I am digging targets that my etrac could not see do to heavy iron.

Hey slider nice digs. I think you just made the waiting list for the equinox a little longer.

Thanks. Iโ€™m up to ten rings now but have not been out for a few weeks.
