Has anyone else had an issue with the screw for the armrest when putting the machine together? Everything else went on perfect, but I seem to have to muscle that screw to tighten. Is this normal? Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, what did you do?

No problem here either. It could be a bad thread on either the nut or screw. It happens.

I had mine come loose and lost the screw and bottom piece. It was together correctly but I guess swinging it back and forth caused it to loosen. I ordered a new one from a dealer but I don't know if I can say it here. It was 19.99

Don’t pay for it! If it’s cross threaded, call ML warranty repair and have them send you one under warranty on their dime as it appears to be a defective part. That's what the warranty is there for.

Yes, what V said. Hey, I say that a lot! That' is what a warranty is for.

I used a small runner washer with it and it went on nice. ML is sending me the entire armrest assembly.
