Looks like a whole lot of research involved. Besides the dolls, some of the vintage Barbie accessories can sell for good money too. Hope you have a winner in there!

The other way to look at it is let's say you have 100 pieces and you sold them for $5 each, that's $500.

My wife has bought and sold a fairly large amount of vintage Barbie stuff. Those carrying cases should do pretty well. Check the clothes for tags with the Barbie logo. If they are in good condition, those items should do better than clothes without the Barbie tag. Look for pieces that go together (like suits) and sell them as a set. Even the small accessories like shoes sometimes bring $5 or more. Heck, even the miscellaneous little items sell.

Thought I would share some more I went back there today since I got such a good deal yesterday and got some more stuff like micromachines some beanie babies some collector books some hot wheels and matchbox and micromachine carrying cases couple pieces of silver and some vintage McDonald toys and a bunch of fridge raider magnets and a large Barbie display case and a vintage G.I. Joe doll 12 inches tall so altogether the total was 185

Thats one heck of a toy haul! - I cant even believe it was still sitting there when you arrived. I would have had to camp out in front of the estate sale 5hrs before it started to get that lot.
